Ashraya Drama club was started in 2012 aimed at impressing the society, the genesis and the background of destitution, deprivation and similar social conditions and thereby extending charity and benevolence to usher in a just and value based society. Under the auspices of the club a five day drama festival was conducted during the Onam season of 2015-16. In the evening session of the five-day event five dramas were staged. The festival aimed regeneration of the degenerating dramatics. Social, Cultural, Literary, Dramatic, Cinematic and Political celebrities attended the event.
