Vegetables available in markets are grown with liberal use of insecticides. Toxic residues in such vegetables generate serious health hazards. Ashraya is addressing the problem by resorting to organic cultivation of vegetables, tubers and banana. For this we utilize ten hectare of land at our institutions at Kottarakkara, Adoor, Palakkad and Thiruvanathapuram. The products are made available to the inmates and public.
